• KATE MCCALLUM - Executive Director c3 and The Millennium Project Global Arts and Media Chair, Event Executive Producer

Producer, Writer and entertainment and arts professional, Kate McCallum, founded Bridge Arts Media, LLC, a transmedia development and production company based in Los Angeles which specializes in both traditional and new media. She also founded and serves as President of the c3: Center for Conscious Creativity, a non-profit arts organization, creative collective and think-tank of artists, media-makers, futurists and conscious­ness experts who examine and explore the impact of art, story and media on culture and society.  c3 also produces and presents artists, concerts, screenings and educational forums relevant to the mission of transformation and the evolution of human potential.  In 2009 Kate was invited to Chair and help create a Global Arts and Media Node for The Millennium Project.  Kate is a member of the Producers Guild of America  New Media Council, the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the World Future Studies Foundation and she received a Commendation of Merit as a Fellow with the Society of New Communications Research.  She writes and blogs about media and arts trends and is also a frequent speaker on future trends in arts and media and the power of the arts and media to transform.


Kate’s 30 year professional background ranges from positions in arts administration, television and feature film production and writing, to development and programming. She holds a BA in Communica­tions and Music from Western Michigan University, and an MA in Consciousness Studies from the Uni­versity of Philosophical Research, Los Angeles. Kate spent 20 years at Universal Studios and Paramount Studios on prime time commercial series such as; THE EQUALIZER, CRIME STORY, MIAMI VICE, THE HUMAN FACTOR, and LAW AND ORDER. She produced and sold long form content to Showtime, UPN, and NBC (Producer on NBC MOW, “What Kind of Mother Are You”) and served as VP of Creative with Western Sand­blast at Paramount TV. Kate joined the Harmony Channel executive team to launch an innovative visual music VoD cable channel on COMCAST to over 11 million homes, then from 2006-2009 she was employed by the Los Angeles Opera in the position of Board Liaison and Executive Administrator to General Man­ager, Plácido Domingo.  As a transmedia consultant, Kate recently created  an animation  transmedia strategy bible for Orb Media Group.

Ed Lantz is an entertainment technology engineer and entrepreneur pioneering immersive cinema, augmented/virtual reality, gesture interactivity and other emerging technologies for next-generation entertainment venues. He is President and CTO of Vortex Immersion Media, Inc., an entertainment company focused on immersive and interactive experiences, and is co-founder of IMERSA, a trade association focused on digital domes and immersive cinema. .

MICHELE SCARABELLI - Programming Producer and Speaker Coordinator

Michele Scarabelli has established herself over 20 years in the film and television industry in Canada, Europe and the U.S.  Best known for her solid acting career, Ms. Scarabelli’s credits include several series starring roles including the alien matriarch "Susan Francisco" in FOX’s critically acclaimed SciFi series Alien Nation;  as well as leads in features such as Loss of Faith opposite John Ritter, Pressure Point with Michael Madsen and the award winning Age Old Friends opposite acting luminary Hume Cronyn. Most recently she co-starred in Darryl from OnCar, an internet series that won 2009 Best Comedy Short.  Michele is presently developing several television projects that combine her love of nature and travel.  Michele has a degree in Psychology from McGill University in her home town of Montreal. She has an extensive background that spans media production, business management, strategic marketing, merchandising and relocation consulting.  Michele is a dynamic professional, offering a unique combination of organizational skills, diverse industry experience, and well-honed interpersonal expertise  which make her a highly effective VIP Speaker Liaison.
