c3: VisionLAB is the cutting-edge research and project development think tank of the c3: Center for Conscious Creativity.  The VisionLAB focuses on the future of arts, media and communication technologies and their power to create and drive solutions for global challenges.

The think tank’s primary initiatives include:

•   Tracking the latest trends in emerging arts and media genres, entertainment and 
     communication technologies
•   Researching arts, traditional and new media, entertainment and communications,
    
technology, neuroscience and social sciences with a focus on next generation arts and
    
media, designing the future of arts and media, as well as targeting their relation to global 
    
challenges and  influence on creating solutions and driving global change
•   Analyzing and implementing of projects and solutions from a trans-disciplinary perspective
•   Projecting future trends from advanced findings in above areas
•   Acting as a catalyst for collaborative international projects based on the c3:VisionLAB's
    
initiatives.  


To accomplish these initiatives c3:VisionLAB brings together interdisciplinary experts in a variety of fields.  c3:VisionLAB participants include a leading group of international futurists, scientists, scholars, business leaders, professional communicators, artists, media professionals, technologists and cognitive sciences experts – collaborating together on research initiatives, educational offerings, and projects addressing solutions for global challenges.  

The c3:VisionLAB, in partnership with The Millennium Project, an internationally recognized global futurist think tank, has created a Global Arts and Media Node chaired by c3 founder, Kate McCallum.  The Global Arts and Media Node is made up of members from around the world and is dedicated to tracking trends in the arts and media and addressing creative projects and solutions for bringing The Millennium Project’s “15 Global Challenges” and solutions, addressed and reported on annually in the STATE OF THE FUTURE REPORT, to a larger mainstream audience.
